Escaping the tropical climate of Indonesia for Aussie sunshine is always a welcome change. 

Over the past two years, I’ve only managed to return once a year, and this year is no exception. I realise that I should make it back home more often. Heading home at the end of the year gives me the chance to visit my mum, reconnect with a few close friends, and enjoy the beautiful beaches I used to frequent on weekends when I lived there. I definitely miss home.
